U S Army Veteran, Richard "Rick" Buchanan - Bluffdale, UT
About the Mission:
1SG Richard "Rick" Buchanan joined the Army National Guard and became part of the 328th General Hospital Army Reserve.
He dedicated more than 20 years of service and retired with honor as a First Sergeant (E8).

Utah Veteran's Cemetery and Memorial Park (at the maintenance shed)

This will be a Veteran's format.
The service will be at the Utah Veteran's Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, at 12:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Following the service, we will stand a flag line at the gravesite during military honors.
Weather: 40% chance of snow showers, and a high of 38.
Please dress accordingly, and keep yourself hydrated.
Anyone attending in a cage, and willing to transport flags, please contact the Ride Captain.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
Large Bike Flags will not be needed.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.

About the Mission:
Once again, Snowball Express is making its way through Utah.
The Patriot Guard Riders will assist Gold Star families as they arrive for their adventure,
assisting them with luggage, help to navigate security as we escort them to the departure gate.
We love you, Gold Star families.
Your loved ones will never be forgotten.

Instructions:
This year we will only have one mission.
We will not be assisting in setup, and have not yet received word on participating in the return.
If that takes place, we will send out an additional post.
In order to participate, PGR members MUST RSVP no later than Thursday, December 4, 2025.
The airline and TSA will not permit entry if your information is not submitted to them prior to the mission.
If you are not pre-registered you will not be granted access by TSA.
To RSVP, Please TEXT ONLY to Eilene "Mama Bear" Bennett at 801-916-1595.
Text her your full name as it appears on your driver license, and your birth date.
Again, RSVP’s will only be accepted by text to the above mentioned number.
Do not RSVP to the Ride Captain.
Attendance is limited.
Participation in this mission will be first come first served until all slots are filled.
We have 8 families with 22 total family members.
We can accept up to 15 PGR volunteers for this event.

About the Mission:
PFC Stewart Pike served in the U.S. Army, Company B, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry division.
Received the Parachutist badge and Marksman M-14.

KSU: 10:30 AM
This will be a Veteran's format.
The service will be held at the Fort Duchesne Community Building, 860 Small Loop Rd, Fort Duchesne, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 6, 2025. We will stand a flag line following the service, then escort PFC Stewart Pike to his final resting place at the Roosevelt Memorial Park, located at 240 US-40 in Roosevelt, where we will stand another flag line.
Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high of 48.
Please dress accordingly, and keep yourself hydrated.
Anyone attending in a cage, and willing to transport flags, please contact the Ride Captain.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
